Jacqueline graduated from the Glasgow School of Art in 1986 with a BA Honours in Fine Art. Following graduation, Jacqueline decided to pursue an ultimately successful career in nursing. Throughout this time Jacqueline maintained her love of drawing and painting and from time to time would accept commissions.
In 2003, Jacqueline decided to retire from nursing and indulge her two passions, art and horses. Jacqueline's currently owns two grey Arabs and five Shetland Ponies. All her horses are kept at home where they have access to several acres of pasture.
Jacqueline currently creates her art in a large, naturally lit studio attached to her home, which sits on the edge of the Clyde Valley.
Jacqueline believes that careful attention to the drawing phase of each piece is the foundation of her work. Observing horses on a daily basis no doubt enhances her ability to create credible equestrian art.
Jacqueline’s art is sold across the world and she is always delighted to receive positive feedback from her clients.
